In fact, Vietnam has 30 national parks, with the area of 10350.74km2 (620,10km2 of sea area) and each national park has the special features with the variety of fauna and flora systems that attracts tourists in large numbers every year.
Among Vietnam’s national parks, U Minh Ha and U Minh Thuong national park is really well – known. U Minh Thuong is located in An Minh and Vinh Thuan districts, Kien Giang Province and about 365km south-west of Ho Chi Minh City and U Minh Ha National Park is located in the Khanh Lam and Khanh An communes, in U Minh district and in the Tran Hoi, Khanh Binh Tay Bac communes of Tran Van Thoi district. Both of them are considered as the richest region of the Mekong delta in terms of plant and animal biodiversity.
