Police seek assistance in search for missing woman

The Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help as they look for 36-year-old Beronica Oqqallak, who has been missing since the evening of Thursday, April 3.

When last seen in the Van Lang Private area, she was wearing a blue sweater and grey Under Armour joggers, police said.

She was described as Indigenous, 5-2 and 110 pounds with black hair.

Police and her family are concerned for her health and safety, police said in a release Monday.

Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Oqqallak was asked to call the Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2355. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 or at crimestoppers.ca.
