The inaugural Toronto Tech Week kicks off this June

Toronto Tech Week is kicking off this June from the 23rd to the 27th.
The event, held by no single organizer, is created by a network of large and small community hosts and backed by a Toronto non-profit, filling in for the missing Collision conference. However, its founding partners include Golden Ventures, Daybreak Studio, and BetaKit.
The event will feature panels, hackathons, demos, open houses and social events. It also includes backing from the City of Toronto, Shopify, Google Cloud, the University of Toronto, and more.
According to the FAQ, this event is for Toronto by Toronto and welcomes founders, startups, investors, partners, professionals, students, builders, and anyone interested in tech. Events will take place around the city and the GTA.
Those interested in hosting an event can go to the website and set up a proposal with a deadline of April 30th.
Toronto Tech Week should be an open platform to celebrate the tech community in Toronto.
